Understand how research methods are developed and used.
These workshops examine a recent research paper to explore how a research question is translated into data, methodology, analysis, and findings. Participants examine the assumptions behind the methods, discuss their limitations, and consider how the approach could be extended or adapted.

Participants work with a published study, dataset, or other research materials to investigate a defined research problem. The challenge involves implementing a selected methodology, analysing results, examining limitations, and developing a short research output.

Gain practical experience in research.
We offer remote research internship opportunities, typically lasting 1–3 months, for bachelor's and master's degree students interested in developing research experience. Interns can contribute to ongoing methodological and future-oriented research across areas such as forecasting and anticipation, analysing change, scenario analysis, systems modelling and simulation, uncertainty and decision-making, and collective and participatory futures.
